Treatment for various injuries plays a significant role in the activities of the Pediatric Orthopedics unit. This treatment includes managing and monitoring fractures, dislocations, cuts, muscle and tendon tears, and other types of injuries. Initially, treatment takes place in the medical department ("assessment room") and continues either in the hospitalization department or in the outpatient clinic.

Our treatment involves collaboration with numerous teams, including pediatric surgeons, plastic surgeons, urologists, anesthesiologists, and more, depending on the specific injury or condition. In the department, children receive comprehensive care, including nursing care, pain management specialists, teachers from different fields (affiliated with the pediatric department's school), occupational therapists, physiotherapists, social workers, and other professionals, all tailored to their needs.

The surgical team at Pediatric Orthopedics is highly experienced in treating fractures and injuries in children. The team is available around the clock and can consult with orthopedic specialists from other departments if necessary (e.g., hand specialists or spine experts).

Treating bone, muscle, joint, and tendon injuries during growth stages differs significantly from treating adults. Therefore, expertise in this field is of great importance. We utilize surgical techniques tailored to children, which differ significantly from those used for adults. Our hospitalization department is the Pediatric Surgery unit, dedicated to children in need of surgical treatment of any kind. Alongside it, the Pediatric Ward houses children with various medical conditions requiring hospitalization. Both departments are located on the 7th floor of the Children's building.

The follow-up for injuries, fractures, and various conditions is conducted at the Pediatric Orthopedics outpatient clinic. In the clinic, we can apply and remove casts (including water-resistant materials), treat wounds, perform imaging tests, and more. The clinic is situated on the 6th floor of the Children's building.

We are here to assist you with any questions, and we wish you good health!
