In liver disorders involving bile obstruction or stagnation, the body's ability to absorb fat-soluble vitamins (A, D, E, and K) may decrease. The effects of a deficiency in these vitamins are diverse, ranging from blood clotting disorders to bone strength impairment and even neurological damage. The doctor will recommend regular blood tests to monitor the vitamin levels, and if necessary, suggest supplements.
