Clinical Research Unit

Clinical research is a medical experiment that involves human participants. Clinical trials are a central component of medical innovation and include experiments that examine the effectiveness and safety of new treatments and innovative technologies that have not yet been approved by health authorities (such as the FDA, EMA, or the Ministry of Health). Participation in these trials is voluntary.

The meticulously conducted trials aim to discover better ways of treatment, prevention, diagnosis, and understanding of the disease. All treatments offered to patients today are the result of clinical research that established their effectiveness and safety.

Oncology clinical trials examine new treatment and diagnostic methods for cancer, as well as interventions to alleviate or prevent disease symptoms and treatments.

The unit conducts international multicenter clinical trials as well as local clinical research.

Among others, various research is conducted on experimental drugs in the fields of diseases such as:

- Lung tumors
- Breast tumors (early and advanced)
- Gastrointestinal and intestinal tumors
- Gynecological tumors
- Kidney, bladder, and prostate tumors
- Brain tumors
- Head and neck tumors
- Skin and melanoma tumors
- Sarcomas
- Radiation treatments.
