About
The Spine Unit at the Shaare Zedek Medical Center provides a service for the hospital’s clinics and for the health funds (HMOs). Among other treatments, the unit offers conservative treatments (such as pain management and drugs) and we perform all spinal operations, including surgery to repair breaks and damage to the spinal cord and to correct deformations such as scoliosis (curving to the side) and kyphosis (hunched back).
We also have a designated service – within the Children’s Hospital – for Pediatric Spinal Cord issues, which deals with the spectrum of disorders in children, especially spinal deformation.
