Arthroplasty (Joint Replacement) Unit

At Shaare Zedek’s Arthroplasty Unit, we perform operations to replace knee and hip joints, and knee and hip revisions, even when the patient’s first replacement was done in another hospital or overseas. The unit’s team has much experience in DDH (congenital hip dislocation) hip replacements and uses advanced artificial joints (Rotating Platform) for the knees. We also use implants without cement for hip joints (usually a ceramic implant on a ceramic base.)
