The IVF unit is open six days a week:
Sun-Thu 7:00 - 15:00
Fri 7:00-12:00
All services are provided within the unit.
First stop
A meeting with the physician, who will examine all relevant documentation and determine the course of treatment.
Second stop
1. An instruction session with a nurse, including screening of an instructional video. The nurse will set a date for the commencement of treatment.
2. An introductory session with our social worker.
Third stop
5 sessions of blood tests and ultrasound, carried out between 7:00 - 9:00am (the average waiting time is 50 minutes).
After each session you'll receive medical instructions:
1. A text message will direct you to the personal website.
2. To enter the website, please type in your personal code and password issued to you at the beginning of the process.
3. The nurse will call you to confirm the medical instructions and to schedule your next visit.
Fourth stop
1. Oocyte retrieval. The extraction is performed under general anesthesia (requiring a 12-hour fast) in the unit's operating room. This is an outpatient procedure that takes a total of about 6 hours.
2. Semen collection.
Fifth stop
Embryo transfer and cryopreservation of excess embryos.
Results are available after 12 days.
A Halachic supervision service is available at no extra charge.
