The Clinical Cardiology Research Unit
The Clinical Cardiology Research Unit was established 20 years ago and has since participated in dozens of clinical studies in the fields of fibrillation, heart failure, acute coronary syndrome, angina pectoris and infarction, with and without lifting ST segments, by using stents, CRT defibrillation (CRT-D), antiarrhythmic drugs, defibrillators and new stents, as well as advanced technologies for closing heart defects.
The research team is skilled at enlisting patients with chronic stage heart disease and all the doctors in the Cardiology Department are on hand to manage patients and monitor their condition.

About
The Cardiac Research Unit was established 30 years ago with the goal of promoting innovative and future-oriented research in the field of cardiovascular diseases and blood vessels. It has participated in dozens of international and national clinical research studies in various areas, including acute coronary syndrome, chest pain syndromes with and without ST-segment elevation, heart failure, valvular diseases, proarrhythmia, antiarrhythmic drugs, the use of defibrillators and CRT-D devices (including pacemakers), blood lipids, pulmonary hypertension, and advanced technologies for closing heart defects.
Independent research is conducted by the cardiologists of the Cardiac Center on various topics, often in collaboration with specialized physicians and medical students.
The research team is skilled in patient recruitment and follows patients through the acute and chronic stages of heart disease, with the assistance of all the cardiologists in the cardiology department in recruiting and monitoring patients' conditions.
