The unit specializes in providing comprehensive care for all possibilities in the cardiac rhythm management system, including:
Implantation of pacemakers and defibrillators (ICDs):
- Includes single or dual-chamber pacemakers, as well as two-chamber pacemakers (CRT) commonly used for treating heart failure.
- MICRA miniature pacemaker for suitable cases.
- Pacing of the natural conduction system (HIS pacing) when appropriate.
- Implantation of defibrillators, including subcutaneous defibrillators (without electrodes in the vascular system) for suitable cases.
Extraction of pacing systems:
- Removal of contaminated systems, multiple electrodes, or non-functioning systems using advanced equipment and surgical support as needed. The team has many years of experience in this field, acquired from other medical centers in Israel and abroad.
Clinics:
- Medication balancing, counseling, and monitoring for patients with pacemakers and defibrillators.
- Follow-up clinic for potential issues in the cardiac rhythm management system, including remote monitoring.
Holter monitoring:
- Standard 24-hour Holter monitoring.
- 12-lead Holter monitoring is typically used to identify the source of rhythm disturbances.
- Wearable Holter in the form of a vest capable of recording for about a month. Used for diagnosing rhythm disturbances with low frequency.
